Class Schedule
Class Fees:
Classes are $15.00 per hour and a half group class, or $15.00 per hour for private lessons, unless otherwise noted. Take 5 classes and get your next one free!
If there is a technique that you want to learn but don't see it listed, just ask. Group and private lessons for all levels of knitters and crocheters are available.
*For all classes, feel free to bring your own needles or hooks however we require that you purchase yarn for classes from Two Sisters and Ewe.
We are happy to help with you knitting problems where ever your yarn is from.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for all classes. Please see our Class Registration Policies at the end of this page for more information.
July Classes
Beginning Knitting
Every Tuesday with Jane 6:00 - 7:30 PM
This class is for the brand new knitter or for those needing a refresher course. Taken one time, you will learn the basics to get you started, cast on, knit, purl and bind off. Take additional classes to build on your techniques of reading patterns, fixing mistakes and more.
Prerequisites: No prior knitting experience required.
Materials List:
• 1 Pair US Size 7, 8 or 9 needles (straight or circular)
• Worsted weight yarn in a light color.*
Saturday Knitting
Beginners with Tracy 9:30 AM - 11:00 PM
All levels with Tracy 1:00 - 2:30 PM
Knitters of all levels can learn new techniques with Tracy. Come and get help with your current project, learn to read charts, finish that second sock Tracy!
Knitted Lace
Wednesdays with Cathy or Jessica, by appointment only.
Learn basic to advanced lace techniques.
Prerequisites: Must be able to knit and purl.
Materials List:
• Will be provided by instructor prior to class time.
Learn to Knit Socks Toe Up or Top Down
Sock classes are available most days during regular shop hours, by appointment only.
Socks are a fun, portable and easy way to knit on the go or when it's too hot to have a sweater, blanket or other warm weather knitting in your lap. Not sure you if you are ready for socks? Try a Christmas stocking! All basic construction is the same just larger needles, yarn and you only have to make 1.
We have divided our sock classes into 4 sections so that each part of sock construction can be covered completely.
Socks can be taught on worsted, sport or fingering weight yarn. Please let us know your preference when booking your class.
Socks Part 1: Casting on
Learn to cast on on 3 or 4 circular needles and begin the leg of a sock.
Socks Part 2: The heel flap
For this class students will need to have the leg of a sock completed and be ready to begin the heel flap.
Socks Part 3: The gusset
For this class students will need to have the leg and heel flap of a sock completed and be ready to begin picking up stitches for the gusset.
Socks Part 4: Grafting the toe
For this class students will need to have the sock completed to the point that they are ready to cast off.
Prerequisites: Students must be able to knit and purl.
Materials List:
• 1 set of double pointed needles in a size to match gauge for your pattern.
• Worsted or bulky weight yarn to match your pattern.*
Beginning Crochet
1st and 3rd Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Saturdays 9:30 - 11:00 AM
Crochet is gaining in popularity as pattern support improves. Learn beginningtechniques.
Prerequisites: No prior crochet experience required.
Materials List:
• Will be provided by instructor prior to class time.
Intermediate/Advanced Crochet
2nd and 4th Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Crochet is gaining in popularity as pattern support improves. Learn beginning to advanced techniques.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of crochet required.
Materials List:
• Will be provided by instructor prior to class time.
Entralac
Wednesdays with Cathy, by appointment only.
A beautiful knitting technique that produces a fabric with a woven appearance. Requires advanced beginner knitting skills.
Prerequisites: Students must be able to knit and purl.

In an effort to keep our class size to maximum of 6 students per instructor, we have made the following changes to our class registration policies:

• Students must pre-register and pre-pay either in store before the class or via credit card over the phone.

• Students may reschedule 24 hours in advance of a class.

• No shows will not be rescheduled.

• Class fees are non-refundable.

• Unless otherwise noted, all classes are limited to 6 students. A wait list is available for all classes that are full. We will contact you 24 hours in advance of the class if a space has become available.
